Who’s gonna carry the flag?
That’s what a fellow firefighter asked me one morning at the station.
We were talking about 9/11 — how some of the new guys weren’t even born when it happened.
He looked me dead in the eye and said,
“If we don’t carry the flag… who will?”
That moment stuck with me.
Carry The Flag was born from that question — a reminder that discipline, grit, freedom, and legacy aren’t just buzzwords. They’re what built this country.
